Can a Life Insurance Policy Ever be Canceled Due to Health Reasons?

No, unlike health insurance or auto insurance, your life insurance company cannot “drop you” or cancel your life insurance policy. That goes for any reason (other than non-payment of premiums) including changes in health, providing you did not falsify or provide any intentionally misleading information on your life insurance application. On the other hand as the policyholder you may choose to stop paying premiums or cancel the policy at any time.
